April 2010
Well the year is now well underway, and as i write this the sun is shinning and the hopes of a warm and sunny summer are looking very promising.
Here at Innovents we have had a steady start to the year, but starting from May the wedding season really gets going with plenty of wedding discos booked in the diary for the year ahead.
Two of Berkshires finest venues 'Easthampstead Park' and 'Northcote House' remain ever popular wedding locations, and Innovents are delighted to remain the only entertainment company that both venues recommend.
Rivervale Barn, which is an idealic new wedding barn venue in Yateley have had a fantastic launch. This new venue is looking likely to take the crown of been the areas most popular venue, with other 200 weddings booked for 2010 and 2011. Innovents are delighted to be the prefered supplier for this amazing venue offering a large choice of discos and live music ideas.
Another popular venue in the area is The Ramada Jarvis Royal Berkshire Hotel in Ascot. This is a wonderful venue with a newly refurbished function room overlooking stunning landscaped grounds. Innovents have provide a range of Wedding Discos and Entertainment at this venue over the years, and are now delighted to be an offical prefered supplier for this great venue.
The bouncy castle season started a little slow due the extended winter, but now that spring has finally arrived, the activities have started. We have added some new inflatables to our hire stock. Offering the best inflatables in the area, backed up with our high customer service, we remain the areas number one choice for Inflatable Bouncy Castles.
The other area where Innovents have been busy recently, has been the 'Function Bands and Musicians' section of our website. We have added some great bands onto the website over the last couple of months. Although none of the bands are actually new to the Innovents portfolio, they have until recently not had a full profile page on the latest Innovents website. You will find prices, set lists, feedback, demo songs and videos to view and interact with.
Until the next time, i would like to wish you all happiness and good health! Regards Darren Latimer

Innovents First Blog...
A new year, new energy, new goals...
One of the plans for the new year, was to start an Innovents Blog. So here i am, but whats a blog, and why do we need one?
Well a Blog is a website that allows users to read, share opinions, and discuss various topics in the form of an online journal while readers may comment on posts.
Why do i need one, Well as a forward thinking business, I value been in touch with my customers, and see the benefit of having a practical way of keeping you all informed on events, and letting you have the option to comment.
So what does Innovents have planned for the year ahead...
Firstly we aim to update the website with new and interesting ways to communicate, Blog, Twitter and Facebook are all planned.
New pictures and videos to the various sections of the website are all in the working, together with some updates to the Disco Section, and some new profiles in the Bands and Entertainers section.
So please keep an eye on the site for exciting new additions over the coming few weeks. (many of the additions will be old favourites that have yet to make it onto the newest Innovents website).
One of the benefits of keeping in more direct contact with our customers via blogging and twitter, will be that we can offer these followers instant access to Special Offers.
So does Innovents have a goal for 2010? Yes, we have set ourselves a goal this year, which is similar to the last year or twos goals to be honest, just even more refined. Unlike many businesses, we are not actually looking for growth as such this year! Well we are already busy enough to be honest (achieved one of our earlier goals) so instead of growth, this year we are aiming to continue to work on Delivering a Higher Customer Service Experience, and Provide Even More Quality Products. I aim to cover more on this in later blogs. But for now, rest assured, as a small business we are Big enough to cope, yet small enough to care.
In business i remember learning early on that 'Its not the opinion of the service we provide that's so important, but the opinion of the service our customers receive that really counts'.
I look forward to communicating with you all in the year ahead!
