The Wedding DJ for Mr & Mrs Williams at Easthampstead Park, Wokingham, Berkshire

Updated: Feb 19, 2020

The Ceremony

The sun was shinning as Gareth and Emma’s guests made their way to the seating area next to the outdoor wedding pavilion at Easthampstead Park in Wokingham, Berkshire.

A selection of background music from the Vitamin String Quartet was playing on our dedicated PA system while Gareth was joined by his best men at the pavilion entrance.

The registrars did their normal introductions and then the cue was set for the bridal processional song to be played, which was Motion Picture Soundtrack (From Westworld) by Vitamin String Quartet.

The bridesmaids walked down the sand stone path shortly followed by the bride Emma escorted by her Dad.

The smile when Emma arrived and gave that in love, nervous and excited look to Gareth.

A beautiful reading was read by one of the guests, followed by the ceremony itself.

During the signing of the registrar and while official photos took place, we played some more songs from Vitamin String Quartet.

The wedding certificate was handed to the new Mr & Mrs William’s and then they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife to New Slang by Vitamin String Quartet.

Gareth and Emma used our online interactive music planning software to select all of the important music which makes planning your wedding music both easy, intuitive and fun!

You can listen to the songs played during the ceremony here: Apple Music - https://itunes.apple.com/gb/playlist/21-04-18-wedding-ceremony-music/pl.u-LdbqbavIxoB507

Champagne Reception

The guests all enjoyed background music during the champagne reception on the lawns in the sunshine. We played a selection of easy listening music ranging from Ed Sheeran to Eva Cassidy. There was also a fun quiz at this point to keep everyone entertained.

Grand Entrance

Next it was time for the guests to take their seats ready for the wedding breakfast, we did our announcements to get the crowd ready for Gareth and Emma’s grand entrance.

This is a wonderful spotlight moment where the newly weds get announced into their wedding breakfast (called a breakfast because it’s the first official meal as a married couple), and it’s time for them to be the centre of attention.

The guests have all been preped and when we announce the new Mr & Mrs Williams, all of their family and friends were on their feet, clapping, cheering, waving hanky’s in the air and Gareth and Emma had their Grand Entrance into the Downshire Room to the top table. The music they had chosen was 'A Grand Day Out - From The Wallace and Gromit Theme'.

We always make sure that this is one Spotlight Moment the happy couple will always look back on with great happy memories!

The guests enjoyed a lovely three course dinner with a hand picked selection of music from the Vitamin String Quartet. Gareth mentioned that he spent a lot of time listening to the songs he liked the best from the quartet.

The Speaches

At the end of the meal it was time to introduce the speaches which were all superb and enjoyed by everyone.

We provided a selection of wireless microphones so that everybody could by clearly heard.

At the end of the speaches we coordinated the guests to make their way out into the bar and courtyard to relax and enjoy some more background music as the venue got the Downshire room ready for the evening party.

Cake Cutting and First Dance

Gareth and Emma had chosen our Special Wedding Disco Package (White Disco Set Up), Coral Uplighting and White Sparkly Led Dance Floor.

The venue really did look elegantly stunning as we announced the Cake Cutting while playing a song that had all of the guests singing along.

The first dance really was a spectacular spotlight moment for the happy couple. They had chosen 'Best Day Of My Life - Bright Eyes'.

We made sure that all of the guests had joined the couple around the dance floor and we also fully include the audience to make it a memory everyone will remember and cherish.

The Evening Dancing

Everybody joined Gareth and Emma onto the dance floor for the 2nd song, which was 'Love Is In The Air - John Paul Young', and there was laughter and fun on the dance floor all night.

We did a few tricks that we use to make sure that everybody was involved throughout the evening, and as you can see from some of the photos, it really was a fun and joyous evening.

It leaves us to thank Gareth and Emma for entrusting Innovents to be a big part of their special day. An honour we don’t take lightly.

Innovents: It's not WHAT we do, It's HOW we do it that makes us uniquely Innovents...
